You can choose to explore the valley on a boat tour, but Château-Gontier itself has plenty of things to enchant you. For example, you can take a walk to the art and history museum housed at the Hotel Fouquet. The town's nearest attraction however is the magnificent garden known as the Jardin du Bout du Monde. Across the river is the Halle du Haut-Anjou (performance centre), the Ursuline Convent and all the other charming sights of the area!
